# Security and privacy

> Information for a security review.

We answer one question: is there a real, unique, live human on the other end. We hold as little about that person as we can while doing it.

We let you opt in or out of PII, so you choose your level of liability. **Identity** on each verification decides whether the check asks for a phone or email or asks for neither. Our current security documentation is available on request, and we will work through your vendor questionnaire with you. Tell us what your review needs at [security@verifyyou.com](mailto:security@verifyyou.com).

To report a vulnerability, use the same address, and give us a reasonable window to fix it before any public disclosure.
